Following the success of the exhibitors' forum at the Spring Meeting last year, a similar event will be held again this year. The forum will provide each exhibitor with the opportunity to present their latest developments and encourage participants along to their stands in the commercial exhibition. It is serious, but entertaining and enlightening, and we encourage participants to provide a good audience for this valuable session, to be held on the opening day of the main meeting.

This is the only meeting in the UK this year which gives you the opportunity to update your product knowledge from such a diverse range of suppliers. Registration, refreshment breaks, lunch and the posters are all in the exhibition area. With one day registrations on offer, can you afford to miss this exhibition? The excellent scientific sessions are the bonus that warrant the full three days of your time!

Social Events

On the 4th April, there will be a wine and buffet reception starting at 19:00 hrs to accompany the poster session. As usual, there will be the annual BCA Spring Meeting Conference Dinner, which is being held at 19:30 hrs in the Langdales restaurant on Wednesday 5th April in the County South Building.

Scientific Program

This year the BCA is changing the format of its Annual Spring Meeting to a style based on IUCr/ECM meetings where morning and afternoon sessions open with keynote plenary-style lectures. Details of individual sessions are available by clicking on the timetable below or by downloading the full program (in a format which is more suitable for printing).

There will be the usual Commercial Exhibition running from Tuesday to Thursday, and, of course, the usual poster session, which as in previous years is combined with an evening buffet and wine reception.

The AGM will take place on 5th April at 16:35 hrs in the main lecture theatre within the Faraday Complex.
