BCA Schools

The BCA organises two 'summer schools'; one in X-Ray structural analysis, mainly for smaller molecules in 'odd' numbered years and the other in protein crystallography in the next year. The two schools have a rather different sontent, because we thought that the biologists would be bored by the greater mathematical content of the CCG school, and the chemists bored by the lectures on how to persuade your protein to crystallise. More specialised courses are organised for their members by the individual groups of the BCA, for further information see the BCA groups pages. Members also attend CCLRC courses in specialised techniques of synchrontron radiation and neutron scattering. Information about these can be found on CLRC pages, advance notices are listed in our other meetings list.
